Chamber Information
The chamber has two goals:
To promote Dearborn,
and
To help our members succeed
Promote
Dearborn
Hotels, tourist attractions, stores, shopping
districts and restaurants benefit from
the chamber's initiatives to attract tourists to Dearborn. Tools include
the website, visitor information packets, dining guide and the annual Taste of
Dearborn.
Real estate businesses, builders, stores, doctors and banks benefit from the
relocation information packets we send on request and distribute through Ford
Motor Company's and other major corporation's relocation department.
The bi-weekly Dearborn Now e-newsletter, targeting daytime population as
well as local residents, serves all these industry sectors, with restaurant
reviews, shopping features, coupons, local news and lifestyle links.
Help our members succeed
Members learn from each other and find prospective customers at morning and
evening networking events
We recognize the best business practices at our
annual Business Recognition Award luncheon and in the monthly section of the
Dearborn Press and Guide - "Chamber Check."
Members can use chamber media to advertise their products and services to
highly qualified consumer and business prospects
Because government decisions inevitably affect businesses, we cultivate a
relationship with elected officials and public agencies at all levels. When the
Dearborn Chamber speaks, it speaks not as a single voice, but with the 600-plus
voices of our members.
In all that we do,
the chamber is guided by six core strategies outlined through a strategic
planning process:
